Hagan Barrett & Langley PLLC Presents Seminar Addressing Corporate Sexual Harassment Issues

Beth Langley, a partner with Hagan Barrett & Langley, PLLC, will present “A Policy is Not Enough,” a seminar focused on assisting business leaders in understanding the sudden paradigm shift that has caused the surge in recent sexual harassment litigation. Ms. Langley will discuss strategies for litigation prevention and liability mitigation through changes in corporate culture at all levels of the organization. “The persistent wave of public charges of sexual harassment has caused a change in our society that will affect employers of every type and every size for the foreseeable future. Just having a well-written policy is no longer enough. The time to act is now,” said Langley.

“A Policy is Not Enough” will be presented on January 23 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in the White Oak Room of the Proximity Hotel at 704 Green Valley Road in Greensboro. Refreshments will be served and SHRM and CLE credit is available upon prior approval. The seminar is free, but participants must register in advance at rsvp@haganbarrett.com.
